Chakra Workshop: An Intensive (Eight Days or Eight Meetings)

The chakras are powerful vortexes that spin at specific points in the human energy field, drawing in energy as well as holding keys to various states of consciousness.  This course focuses intensively on the chakra system, how it works with the body, mind, heart and spirit and its effect on your life.  Using art, movement, nature, yogic postures, mantra and mandala meditation, awareness is brought to each chakra or energy center.  In accessing the chakras, one can begin to approach the unlimited realm of universal wisdom.  The course concentrates on one particular chakra at each of the seven days or meetings.  Students will also construct a personal project on one or more chakras in their own time to be shared with the group.  The conscious wisdom of the chakras can be used to enhance various healing techniques including Reiki, massage therapy, and meditation.  This is an emerging consciousness workshop and introduces the groundwork needed to practice Kundalini Yoga.

Sacred Crafting:  The Elements of Ritual (One Day)

Learn how to shape and bend your life using the principles of magick through understanding the lunar cycle, seasonal days of the year and the four elements and their associated directions.  This workshop focuses on the aspects of ritual that are used to empower one’s self and honor the sacred feminine in harmony with the earth and its relation to the moon.  After learning the techniques of invoking the four directions, casting and closing a sacred circle and the Goddess charge, the group will perform its own special ritual in accordance with the current moon phase.  This course introduces the art of channeling spirit into form to manifest the abundance, love and joy that is deserved by all.

Tarot Workshop (One Day)

This workshop explores the esoteric wisdom of Tarot and provides the groundwork for doing a successful Tarot reading.  The Tarot deck is comprised of 78 cards which collectively illuminate the human experience through archetypes.  Students take an in depth look at the Major Arcana and the inherent consciousness that each of these cards hold as well as learn to work with the suits and numbers of the Minor Arcana.  The class will also include information regarding the history of Tarot, personal meditation using the cards and several layouts for doing readings for self and others.  Tarot is a wonderful way to tap into both the personal and collective realm of the subconscious to shed light on the issues that underlie our lives.

Munay Ki Rites (One Weekend or Three Meetings)

The Munay Ki means love in Quechua, based on the language of the Inca people.  The Laika or medicine men and women of this ancient tradition were the guardians for the nine rites of the Munay Ki which initiate the seeker into harmony, love and wisdom.  The process of the Munay Ki begins with receiving the Nine Rites and is followed by the student practicing fire ceremonies for seven consecutive full moons.  It requires the simple, yet important commitment to honoring the seven major archetypes of the Laika tradition.  During the seven month process the body, soul and heart are empowered and transformed, resulting into illumination of the Munay Ki.
